我要強調"假設法"實在太重要了。(I cannot emphasize enough how important it
is.) "假設法"不懂，將來在工作上讀寫英文email會很吃虧。

[1] 基本句法一
If....would you....? 或許是在戀愛中，最常被使用的句型吧！
If....would it be different that....? 是另一個常用句型。

她總是問我(一天至少一次)："假如...你會不會..."

假如我們十年前相遇，你會不會追我?
假如你遇見另一個像林志玲那樣漂亮的女孩子，你會不會去追她?
假如你的前任女朋友回來找你，你會不會跟她復合，然後離開我?
假如....

好像人活著就是為了要去擔心一些不曉得根本會不會(或者根本就不會)發生的事情。其實
：假如我不再愛妳了，我再回答另一千個 "假如..." 的問題讓妳滿意，又有什麼用？

[2] 基本句法二
If....(then) why can't I/we....則是在分手時，最常被使用的句型。
基本用法：假如我可以再(作一些什麼事情)，為什麼我們不能(再在一起 / 不再分開,
...) 例句：假如我們可以再多留一些空間和時間給彼此，為什麼我們不能再在一起試試
看？

其實，再多的假如都是沒有用的。
當愛情已經遠離，再多的努力與掙扎，也都只是枉然。
"人定勝天" 或 "等久了就是你的" 這一套在愛情的世界堿O沒有用的..
就算留住了人，留不住心有又什麼用呢?
