墨鏡 （Cacher）

 
　　掩蓋。一個讓人斟酌的情境：戀人舉棋不定。她並不是在猶豫是否要向她所鍾情的物件表白愛情（這位元戀人素來很含蓄），而是在斟酌她究竟應將自己的癡情掩蓋幾分：要暴露多少自己的情欲、痛苦，總而言之，自己極度的感情。（用拉辛的話來說：她的“內心風暴”。）
“戴著假面前進”
　　給我的癡情罩上慎重的假面（平靜、坦然）－－完全是英雄氣概－－“偉人不屑於將自己感受的痛苦暴露給周圍的人”（格蘿蒂爾黛
•德•沃語）；巴爾札克筆下的英雄人物之一巴茲上校憑空編造了一個情人，以此來掩飾自己對好友之妻強烈的愛慕之心。
　　但要想完全掩飾感情是不可思議的（簡單說來，甚至包括極度的感情）：這並不是因為人的主體太脆弱，而是因為感情從根本上就是給人看的－－掩飾必然要被覺察－－我想讓你知道我對
你瞞著什麼，這就是我必須解決的一個難以把握的悖論－－我必須同時讓他知道又不讓他知道－－我要讓你知道我不想流露我的感情－－而這正是我要傳達給對方的
資訊。Larvatus　prodeo（笛卡爾）：我示意著自己戴的假面步步緊逼－－我替自己的激情罩上一具假面，卻又小心翼翼地（狡黠地）用手指點著假
面。每一種欲求最終總要有一個觀眾－－巴茲上校在彌留之際忍不住要投書給他一直默默愛著的女人－－愛情的奉獻最終免不了一出終場戲－－符號跡象總是要占上
風的。
墨鏡
　　比如說吧，我曾為了連對方都沒有意識到的事情暗自啜泣過（哭泣是戀人的正常舉動），那麼這是不可能被覺察的，我戴上了墨鏡遮住哭腫的雙眼（以示否定的最好表示－－模糊面容不讓別人看清）。這番舉動的動機是用心良苦的－－我想維持斯多噶式的、“自我尊嚴”的道義上的優勢（我把自己當成格蘿蒂爾黛），而與此同時，我又想引出對方關切的詢問（“你這是怎麼啦？”）；我既想顯得可憐，又想顯得了不起，同時既當一個孩子，又當一個成人。於是，我便下賭注，我便冒險－－因為對這副不常用的墨鏡，對方也許壓根兒就什麼也不問；事實上，對方也許看不出任何符號跡象。
符號的分裂
　　為了巧妙地暗示我的怨艾，為了既能不說謊又能隱瞞真相，我要故意欲言又止－－我要恰到好處地運用我擁有的符號跡象。語言符號的功能在於文飾，在於遮掩，在於矇騙－－對於我極度的苦衷，我是決不會訴諸語言來陳述的。關於內心焦灼憂慮的程度，我沒有說過什麼，內心平息後，我便能告慰自己，別人什麼也沒有覺察。語言的力量－－借助自己的語言，我什麼都能做到－－甚至包括（或尤其是）什麼也不說。
　　憑藉自己的語言，我什麼都能做到，而憑藉我的肉體卻不行。我用語言掩蓋的東西卻由我身體流露了出來。我可以隨心所欲地捏造我要傳達的意思，但無法捏造我的聲音。不管我說什麼，對方只要憑我的聲音就能覺察到“我有些不對勁”。我說了謊（因為我閃爍其辭），但我不是在演戲。我的肉身是個倔強的孩子，我的語言是一個十分開化了的成年人……

 
今天終於看了名媛教育<An Education>，也花了一些時間在聽英文和抄寫對白，
只能說台灣片商沒有讓這部片上院線直接出DVD，又抹滅了一部好片讓更多人看到的機會。
（好歹也看看人家被提名多少個奧斯卡？總有點參考價值吧！XD）

I guess I could be pretty pissed off about what happened to me,
but it's hard to be angry when there's so much beauty in the world.
Sometimes, I feel like I'm seeing it all at once, and I can't take it.
My heart swells up like a balloon that's about to burst.
But then I remember to relax, and stop trying to hold onto it.
And then, it flows through me like rain and I feel
nothing but gratitude for every single moment of my stupid little life.)
You have no idea what I'm talking about.
Don't worry, someday you'll know.
